Conduct & Discipline

How We Maintain Professionalism

The intent is not to establish draconian rules in line with real life, but rather establish a reasonable baseline of behaviour enabling enjoyment of the game by all members and in line with the two ION Services Values as described in Company Policies. The mantra for commanders is to “praise in public, bollock in private”.

The company runs a discipline system similar to the British Army called the Army General Administrative Instruction 67 (AGAI 67). Should an operative behaviour fall short of the expected standard for unit cohesion and gameplay the following protocol applies:

AGAI 67 - Verbal Warning

This is given publically in debrief or brief. HQ is to give a verbal warning to the individual reminding them of the unit standards. This will remain on a members record for four sessions. The member has the right of appeal.

AGAI 67 - Written Warning

This is given by Discord DM. Should the members' conduct fail to improve during the period of a verbal warning, a written warning is issued outlining the inappropriate conduct. This is to remain on a members record for eight sessions. The member has the right of appeal.

AGAI 67 - Final Warning

This is given by Discord DM. Should the members’ conduct fail to improve during the period of the Written Warning a Final Warning is issued outlining the inappropriate conduct. This is to remain on a members record for twelve sessions. The member is banned from attending future side operations. A further breach by inappropriate conduct during other operations, may lead to the members dishonourable discharge from the unit. The member has the right of appeal.
